Our hospital provides medical treatment to foreign citizens that live on the territory of the Russian Federation. Providing healthcare to foreign citizens in Russia is defined by the decree #186 from March 6, 2013. You can find the document in Russian here.
We are specialized in the following medical care services:
Therapy, cardiology (including resuscitation), neurology (including brain blood circulation disorders), pulmonology, endocrinology, allergology and immunology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and infectious diseases, surgery and neurosurgery, urology, traumatology, proctology, plastic surgery, anesthesiology.
In our hospital, medical care is provided in the following forms:
Primary care – first point of consultation for new patients.
Secondary care – necessary treatment for a short period of time for a brief but serious illness, injury, or other health condition.
Tertiary care – specialized consultative health care, usually for inpatients.
How we charge for medical services
Emergency care for diseases posing a threat to the patient’s life is provided to foreign citizens free of charge. Foreign patients that have a valid health insurance with one of Russian insurance companies can receive free medical treatment according to the compulsory health insurance policy. In other cases, paid services are provided and regulated via a contract with the foreign citizen or patient’s employer.
After the medical treatment has been provided, we issue a paper that shows when the patient stayed at the hospital and also lists all services provided to them. Any medical documentation sent from the Russian Federation to other countries is filled out in Russian.
